Update

So we are nearly at the end of 2008 and I'm wrapping up a couple of lovely weeks with my family in Portland. Since I'll be on the road back to DC on New Year's Eve I thought I'd take a minute to update folks on where I've been over the last year and where I'm headed.

2008 was a year for frequent flyer miles in my world. I spent approximately 24 weeks traveling last year! This included Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the good ol' USA.

In addition to all of the miles traveled I also met some incredible friends and learned a great deal along the way. I'm happy to say that my husband and I have weathered our distance apart well and are happy to be back together these days. It feels great to love someone who loves me enough just as I am and supports me in following my dreams.

Right now I'm still on the job hunt but have a couple of good leads. I'm hoping for great changes in 2009 and looking forward to where life will take me. I'll keep you posted on where that might take me.
