In the little Luxe guide, with the best of the best in Saigon, it had a great tip that seems an appropriate metaphor for life.
Their advice on crossing the road - step right out like a brave young thing and the hordes avoid you, otherwise you'll be stood in the gutter for the rest of your life - rather poetic isn't it?
This could not be better advice. When you follow it, you'll be amazed that the stream of motorbikes will part like the seas! I passed this bit of advice on to a couple of Aussies the other day and helped save them from a life on the curb.
It's very much like life itself, in that sometimes you don't know the how, but having the will is a great place to start. Without that, you just might stay on the sidelines for life.
Good luck stepping out there!
